Getting started

Set up your first app

Create an app, separate its platforms, and choose the evidence you want to track.

Before you start

  • A Specita account and workspace. No integration is required to start.

Workspace accessWork within the workspace you have selected. Owners and admins manage provider connections.

Step by step

  1. Add an app

Open Apps → Add an app. Enter a name and identifier. A public App Store or Google Play listing can help prefill the details, but does not prove ownership.

  2. Choose its platforms

Select Web app, Backend / API, iOS, or Android as applicable. Each selected platform gets its own component and version history.

  3. Add evidence progressively

Use manual release records or deployment reporting first. Connect GitHub for source comparison, Google Play for Android distribution, or Sentry for optional quality context. You do not need every integration.

  4. Open a version

Select the app, platform, and version. Review its delivery evidence, source context, and missing evidence separately. Assign a response owner when your team needs to follow up.

Check your setup

  • The app appears in Apps.
  • Each selected platform has its own component.
  • A recorded version opens the intended platform’s release page.

Troubleshooting

An integration is missing

Continue with manual records or deployment reporting. Missing evidence remains unknown, not a failed release.

Cannot add another app

Open Plan & usage. In workspaces with enforcement enabled, archive an unused app or ask an owner/admin to review capacity.

Credential safety

Select the correct workspace before connecting a provider. Never share provider keys in release notes or team messages.
