Getting started
Is Specita for web or mobile teams?
Both. A product can contain a website, APIs, and mobile apps, each with its own release timeline. Your team gets one place to understand how those parts are moving.
Do I need to replace my CI/CD pipeline?
No. Keep the tools you already use. Specita accepts signed delivery reports from your pipeline and adds source, distribution, and quality context from the integrations you choose.
Do I have to connect every integration?
No. Start with the evidence you have. You can record a release manually, connect GitHub, or report a deployment from CI. Add other providers when they help your team.
Does a successful deployment mean my app is healthy?
No. Delivery results, source risk, store state, and runtime health are separate signals in Specita. If monitoring evidence is missing, health stays unknown.
Can I subscribe to a paid plan today?
Yes. Choose Team or Studio during workspace setup, or open Plan & usage in an existing workspace. Workspace owners and admins can subscribe through Polar’s secure checkout. Free is available without payment. History retention and support tiers are planned.
Security & your data
How are my connected accounts protected?
Your connection credentials are encrypted before they are stored, and your connection to Specita uses HTTPS. Credentials stay on the server and are not shown in release briefs. You choose which tools to connect.
Can Specita change my code or publish my app?
Specita currently reads release context and records delivery evidence; it does not push code, deploy your services, or publish store builds. Connecting Slack lets it send release briefs and replies. GitHub currently requests its broad repository permission, so review the access shown when you connect.
Who can see my release information?
Access to your workspace requires sign-in and workspace membership, with roles controlling the actions teammates can take. If you enable Slack delivery, people in the destination channel can see the briefs sent there. Choose a channel appropriate for your release information.
Is my code shared with an AI provider?
When source analysis runs, selected release context—including commit messages, pull-request titles, file paths, and code-change snippets—is sent to our AI service providers to produce a risk brief. You can use Specita without connecting a repository by recording releases manually or reporting deliveries from CI.
Can I disconnect a tool later?
Yes. Workspace owners and admins can disconnect integrations from the Integrations page. To revoke the underlying authorization or key as well, remove it in the provider’s settings. Disconnecting a tool is separate from deleting release history already recorded in Specita.
